What is the L28 token?
L28 is the platform’s master utility token. All deposits are converted to L28 tokens, which are then used to purchase asset-specific sub-tokens (L28-RE, L28-OIL, etc.). L28 is pegged 1:1 to AED and is wrapped with your verified User ID and Escrow Payment ID.
Can I buy sub-tokens directly with fiat or crypto?
No. All purchases must flow through L28 tokens: Deposit → L28 → Sub-Token. This ensures full KYC compliance and audit traceability for every transaction.
Are there other fees besides the 4% commission?
Yes. Government fees (VAT, stamp duty, customs) are passed through at cost. Third-party fees (property appraisal, oil inspection, custody) are paid by the asset owner and disclosed per listing. Gas fees are absorbed by the platform for most transactions.
What is the minimum investment?
Minimums are tiered by asset class: AED 500 (Gold, Carbon Credits), AED 1,000 (Real Estate, Agriculture), AED 2,500 (Off-Plan), AED 5,000 (Oil, Infrastructure).
What ensures liquidity when I want to sell?
The platform maintains four liquidity layers: a platform reserve pool, institutional liquidity partners, an on-chain AMM pool (L28/USDT, L28/USDC), and a quarterly buyback fund.
Can my User ID be changed?
No. Your User ID is permanently assigned at registration and can never be changed, reassigned, or transferred. All deposits, tokens, and transactions are permanently linked to this ID.

What are sub-tokens?
Sub-tokens are asset-specific fractional ownership tokens (e.g., L28-RE for real estate, L28-OIL for oil). Each sub-token is permanently wrapped with the holder’s User ID and Escrow Payment ID for full traceability.
What is the platform commission?
28LegacyGlobal charges a standard 4% commission on all sub-token transactions (purchases and sales). This covers platform operations, compliance, gas fee subsidization, and liquidity reserves.
Do I pay gas fees?
For standard transactions (L28 minting, sub-token purchases, P2P trades, fiat withdrawals), the platform absorbs all gas fees via meta-transactions. You pay zero gas. Only optional Ethereum mainnet bridge transactions incur variable gas.
How do I sell my tokens?
List your sub-tokens on the P2P marketplace. When sold, your sub-token is burned and re-minted to the buyer with their identity. You receive L28 tokens (minus 4% commission), which you can convert to fiat or crypto.
What is the daily audit?
Every 24 hours, the platform automatically reconciles all User IDs against KYC records, escrow deposits against L28 supply, sub-token ownership against asset deeds/custody records, and all fees against transaction volumes. Any discrepancy triggers immediate investigation.
